Does the recipe call for 2 cups or cans of sweetened condensed milk?

We do a similar pie but we use can of eagle brand, half cup lemon juice, small cool whip and egg yolk. mix all together add to graham cracker crust. its my absolute fav

I think eagle brand condense milk is only 8 ounces a can so 2 cans would be to cups which cup ounce.

lots of dumb people! 2 cans=16 ounce. use 16 ounce measuring cup. pour to the 14 mark,2 ounces left over! book mark, look next print friendly version icon.

I call it lemonade pie, use 1 cool whip, 1can of swt cond milk and lemon juice to taste, or 2 drops yellow food coloring, then pour in crust.

My grand mother wants I ice box lemon she said it ha eggs in it. Thank you very

Instead of using 2 cans the condensed milk. Substitute 1 can with a room temp box cream cheese. Whisk cheese until smooth, whisk in milk & which flavor you desire.

Can Realemon in the bottle be used? as opposed to actual lemons?
5/22/2015 12:54:59 PM
Sweetened Condensed Milk comes only in 14 oz. You need 2 cans. 28 total. Is that so hard to understand? It says use cans (14oz) each. Maybe people would have understood it better if had been written: Use oz cans.
5/23/2015 1:04:56 AM
I think the original condensed milk recipe calls for egg yolk
6/1/2015 3:26:55 AM
Eagles Sweetened Condensed Milk comes in 14 ounce cans. It's not that hard to understand. I feel like we are training adolescents. The lemmon juice will thicken the filling, as well a few hours of refrigeration for cooling and settling.
10/26/2015 8:48:16 PM
Does it have to stay refrigerated? I'm running out of room in my refrigerator for long term storage.
11/24/2015 9:52:14 PM
If you use egg, would be eating raw eggs. Icebox lemon pies do not have eggs in them, many times they cream cheese as an additional stabilizer, but here the acid juice curdles and thickens condensed milk. SCIENCE!
