New and Improved!
1 cup peanut butter 1 egg 1 cup sugar 1/2 cup butter, softened
1 Mix sugar and butter. 2 add peanut butter and egg and mix. 3 chill for 10 minute. 4 drop tablespoon sized balls onto a greased pan 5 bake in a oven preheated to 350 for 8 to 10 minute. 6 cool and enjoy.
I found that cooking longer than the directions call for and chilling an extra 15 minutes makes them not as gooey
i usually make these minus the butter and add 1tsp vanilla. it makes a firmer dough. also I have used 1c splenda to make a low carb cookie. drop on cookie sheet and dip a fork in sugar or splenda and press cookies criss cross
when i chilled it i expected it to be firmer i agree its just gooey
This doesn seem to make cookies, just a gooey pile of peanut butter sweetness. It tastes good, but is closer to icing that cooking consistancy.
