Ingredients
28 oz can diced tomatoes, undrained
3 tbsp olive oil
1 tbsp dried basil
1 tsp dried oregano
½ tsp dried marjoram
1 tsp crushed red pepper flakes (optional)
¼ tsp salt
4 cloves garlic, minced
Directions
Combine all of the ingredients in a sauce pan. Bring to a boil and then reduce the heat to medium. Simmer for 15 minutes. This will be a chunky sauce as is, but if you like a smoother sauce, simply use an immersion blender or, if you're like me and haven't scored one of those yet, just throw it into your regular blender and pulse until you reach your desired consistency. Done! How easy was that?!
